My CrapComputer is just that... a piece of shit. It's a P1 16 M waste of electronic hardware in today's age of technology. I get booted often from other websites... this old thing just can't handle a whole lot of graphics. And forget about downloading things from the Net... it just won't do it.

Now, there are many things on my lists of Must Haves... I must have a new car, I must have a washer/dryer instead of lugging all our laundry over the the laundromat or my parents' place. Neither of these things are going to happen in the future, but a new computer... or at least a new computer screen is first in line.

While typing this out, there is now a weird pink/purple shadow on the lower right side of the screen. I'm sure you all aren't seeing that there... but I am. Which means only one thing... the end is near. And the general rule of thumb is this, when one piece of computer equipment is dying, the twin part is sure to follow along quite shortly.

I'm getting a new computer!

The thing is, the work that I do, requires one. I can't get along without one, and can't be expected to do so, either. It's not like I can do all my work at the public library either. So, in the eye of necessity, I'd better be on the lookout for something affordable, and something with a bit more juice than I have right now. I'm mildly wildly anticipating purchasing a computer that is high-speed friendly.

Though, calling that necessity is a whole other arguement to defend.

I don't know if you've already figured out what kind of comp you're getting but gotapex.com often has some great deals....you gotta check it out daily though. My bro in law got a dell pentium 4 with CDR/DVD and 15in flat screen for $699....definitely not bad.

Good luck,
I could use a new one myself, but I'm at work so much I can usually use theirs in my downtime...like now for example.

I'll be in the middle of typing a paper for school and BAM!!! the computer just shuts down. It's like it's saying, "Sorry Trin, had it for the day. Can't take it anymore." I've gotten soooooo mad before. I can definately relate to sucky computers...
