there's something out there for everyone

I was in a hurry this evening. I've got a big night planned; babysitting my 3 year-old neice overnight.
Now, my daughter and I aren't really the stay-at-home type. We are usually on the move; having breakfast at the local coffee shop, catching a movie, hanging out downtown. We buy groceries occasionally but are usually on the verge of running out of important items when we need them. So, instead of doing a leisurely grocery shopping spree, I sped to the local gas bar/convenience store. Filled up on gas, and ran in to get milk, juice, bread, and pop.
On my way, however, something strange caught my eye. To the right of the entrance of the store was a metal bin with a sign reading 'firewood'. $4.99.
Riiiiiight....
It wasn't just any metal box. It had a change slot for loonies and twonies, and had a special door to access the wood which was bundled and bagged. Pretty much the same design as your average newspaper box.
Convenient? For sure.
But downright strange to think that anyone needs this kind of convenience.
