all systems down

It was 10:15pm when all systems crashed. One by one, each program went offline, and one by one the swearing started. Calls were quickly ended, and the headsets came off. Tyler, the cutie on OPs, continually shrugged his shoulders when people asked if this was going to be a long downtime or what. The forms came out, but after thirty minutes it didn't matter anyway because the phones were finally shut down, too.

So, we sat there. And as time went on, the conversations around the room were astounding. Topics ranged from blowjobs, trimming, backdoor entries, and more. I laughed a bit, too, because, at first, it was pretty funny hearing these words come from the quiet, seemingly innocent people around me. But my god. It was like going out to the bars with strangers and then after ten drinks or so, the blindfolds are off. The stuff that people revealed to each other made me wonder what it will be like to go into work tonight. Is it going to be awkward? Like the morning after a one night stand that you had, when everyone else knew as well, what had went down.

I don't think I'm a prude. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to sex, but when it comes to talking about it, I generally opt to remain silent. To me, that's private stuff; not because I am ashamed or shy, but because I'd rather keep my memories for myself. I respect those that I've been with their own right to privacy, too. Having said that, who hasn't dished a bit with a best friend? But with my coworkers, I tend to draw the line. I like em all right, but not enough to tell all, I guess. And I don't think that I'm being judgemental, either. I just know, it's not for me. But it sure was funny, too.
