and some just like to bitch about the weather...

My hair is frizzy, my house is like a... hothouse, and there are too many people in town who are going around without deodorant. And that's just for starters.

Since this blog is all about me... I'm just going to go off on a vent for a few moments. (Feel free to skip over a bit if you can't handle a grown woman rage.)

My job is great, for the most part, but it's got it's sucky parts, too. The one thing that really needs bitching about is the break timing. When I get into work for 8 o'clock. I don't need my morning breat at 8:45. I don't need my lunch at 9:15, and I really want a break around noon or so, not at 4:00, a half an hour before I am ready to leave for the day. I'm all about being patient for things to settle down. Rome wasn't built in a day, and the beginning of a new business that intends to employee over 500 people isn't something to guffaw about either. But, come on! Not everything should be left up to a computer program.

I pick 'em good.

So, my latest crush is young. Not so young as I feel... indecent... but definitely a lot younger than me. I haven't actually asked him how old he is, on account of the fact that I really am scared to hear the answer. He just seems so perfect right now... I kind of just want to bury my head in the sand. Age? Does it matter? No... but also yes. I mean, let's face facts, I am a single parent of a six year old... there's not a lot of young people who can deal with that factor. I'm not so sure if it's something that I want someone to 'deal' with, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I want to have fun, but with good fun comes great responsibility... believe me, I know.

Anyway, since my kid is bugging the hell out of me, I have to sign off for now. Maybe I'll write more tomorrow. Or maybe I'll realize the fruitlessness of this blog by then.
