  • I hate getting up in the morning at 5:00. Even when Kole was a baby, I didn't get up that early. She was always a late sleeper. Now, even on the weekends, we're up by 8.00. So much for ever being able to sleep in again. (At least, until my shift changes next month.)

  • You know that vow that I made to not become adjusted to my new increase in finances? Well, I recently arranged with my bank, a plan that deducted money weekly from my account, so that I wouldn't even see it. It's going somewhere untouchable, that will hopefully have me smiling many years from now.

  • I'm a proud single woman, but even single people wanna have fun, if you know what I am saying.... I just don't want the hassle of a relationship, and I don't want just a one night stand.... I'm in a bit of a predicament, I suppose.

  • I'm smoking more, eating less, and am pretty bloody exhausted by the time I get home. My new bedtime is at 10:00 pm. Pathetic.

  • I took Larry's advice and resigned at the gym.... I haven't been yet, but it's the plan.

  • In what seems to be like a timespan of weeks, the amount of grey hair that I have is astonishing. Now that I have longer hair, I have to wear it pulled back in a ponytail to keep it looking neat. However, it being naturally wavy, the humidity makes it go crazy. I look like a harried mother. Something's gotta give.

  • I am definitely caving. Next week I am going to resign for internet access at home. This university blogging is the pits.

Peace.

Nice to see you around Nicky.

I'm not a morning person either. As far as I am concerned, 5o'clock, 6 o'clock and 7 o'clock only happen once a day. Luckily I work at a place that doesn't mind if I stroll in between 9:30 and 10 everyday. Granted, I work late too, so it all works out in the end.

The bank thing sounds like a great idea. I should look into it!

I was wondering how things were going for you. The bank thing does sound great! Changing your internal time clock is so very hard. It sounds like you are determined and making it work. Maybe you'll meet some nice people at work?

I do the same thing with the bank (and also have a retirement account).  I "hide" money from myself all the time just in case one of us were to lose a job.

Don't worry about "neat" hair.  Just take the Janis Joplin approach to it.  Maybe wear some tie tye with it.

The smoking is what is probably making you tired.  I used to smoke.  I noticed that I had a lot more energy when I quit.  I think the added oxygen helped

Hope things are going well.  Check in when you can!
