Well, that's what it feels like, at least.

It's interesting how fast things change around here. Lots of new users, lots of new interacting between bloggers, and a lot of bitchfests. (hehehe). Seriously. Lots of things piss people off. Right now, for me, it's bloody early mornings. Yes, I am now employed. Working full-time and actually doing something that requires a bit of brain power. I like what I am doing so far, but who the hell really gets up at 5:00 in the morning to get ready for work besides me? Funny, I hadn't considered it before.

So yes, now I am a morning girl instead of a night owl. I'm not liking it. After only 2 days at work, I can't wait for the weekend. Just to be able to sleep in. Because, really, I am still a night-owl... but I have to get up 3 hours after I've fallen asleep. How much sleep does a human being need, anyway?

About the job... it's good. I think I'm going to like it a lot, if I can manage to make it through the testing periods. I love the money, so I'm going to study my ass off in order to maintain my position. While I'm not up to Brad's typing speed, I do quite well, which is a plus. I'm pretty good at storing little bits of info into my brain, so that's a plus, too. It makes me laugh, though, about certain rules and procedures that my company has... it's like they think we are a part of CSIS and everything is highly classified. Confidentiality agreements, passwords, clearance badges, oaths and pinky swears. Gimme a break. This is Canada. Ontario. A small city of less than 70 thousand. I'm surprised we're not wearing uniforms though. I draw the line there. Although if they offered me more money, I'd pretty much wear anything they asked me to.

glad to hear that things are going well Nicky... I hope they continue to do just that.  I'm looking forward to you getting a new computer with some of that big money you're making, so you can blog from home... that is still the plan, right?

How's Kole handling the change?

Glad to hear the new job is going well...you'll get used to the morning thing--oh wait, I take that back, I still hate getting up each and every morning that isnt on a weekend!

It does seem like forever since you turned out a blog.  You've been here long enough to know that bitchiness and backbiting are a regular thing....but that us seasoned, old-hand bloggers will always weather out the storm and still be here long after it's passed.

Glad to know that the job is going well, though!

Yes, a new computer is definitely on my shopping list. Prior to that though, I think I am going to resign with my old ISP and make do with my CrapComputer. I am definitely going through Joeuser withdrawal. Even though I am on the Internet practically every minute of the day, my employer does not allow Internet usage outside of our system. Bastards.

Kole's doing fine with the schedule, though it's hard to tell at this point who is crabbier in the mornings, she or I. Of course, I am not all that organized, so we end up rushing like hell to get to my sister's place (who watches her before she gets on the bus) before she and Skylar get into the car to drop me off at work.

The plus to my schedule? I'm finished work 45 minutes earlier than my sister is. St. Veronus, my favorite pub is a block away. Things are looking good.

I'm missing all of you guys!
