What better way to spend Christmas Eve wrapping presents, drinking beer, and watching Shaun of the Dead?

The holidays have been busy, but lazy, too. I got a brand new duvet ("Tyler Durden: Do you know what a duvet is?
Narrator: It's a comforter... Tyler Durden: It's a blanket. Just a blanket.") and tested it out this afternoon and it works perfectly. Toasty warm and fluffy. I also got some books, some gift certificates and new pair of Converse high tops. I got my girl lots of toys and she got some pretty clothes. It was a highly overpriced Christmas, but I vow not to think too much of that.

I've had fun seeing my family this year, which is a change. This is the first time I plugged in the computer since mid-week, and while I've been missing my daily reads, and the social interchange, it's been good simply being offline. Yesterday marks my third anniversary at JU. 3 years. I shake my head at that, and am simply glad to have found a decent place to spend my time. Good people, good writing, and good reading.

I don't have any time left to write though, so this one will be short and sweet. I haven't had a chance to read anything today, so I'm aiming to put some valuable lazing around time in here tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to everyone, in between time with friends and family.

My thoughts exactly! Heh, I LOVED Shaun of the Dead! At first I didn't know about it when it first started but it grew on me. Ya know, come to think about it, I have a friend just like shaun's roomate...

Good people, good writing, and good reading.

If it weren't for you and a few others, I'd be OUTTA HERE! Glad you're here, Nick.

I think my third is in the beginning of January. I share the same sentiments.
Have a great year and enjoy the rest of your time off.
