I don't have my eyes peeled for you when I see your name listed in the forums, or as the author of a new article. If there are 50 responses to an article that I've just read, and you wrote one of them, chances are that I either didn't notice or didn't care. Unless I've literally clicked on an article, wrote a response directly acknowledging your contribution, or exchange emails with you on the sly, I hate to say it, but I'm probably unaware of your prescence.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

For a time, I used to mix Dr Guy up with another blogger, I thought Modman was someone else completely different, and was certain that another popular blogger was a guy, not a girl. I know that there was once a big big deal over some bloggers named Ashley, Dabe, and the chick who really wasn't a chick but some sad sack with a lust for bust. I can't keep every registered user on Joeuser straight when I don't get a whole lotta time online.

I wonder how many regular bloggers are the same? I'm not online as frequently as some, but I think those that are should keep in mind that not everything is about them. Most of us are pretty much in the dark when it comes to the daily blow ups.

I try to get on everyday....but I still don't know what this article is about. ahahahahahahahah

Unless its pretty blatant...I won't notice it....I guess I tend to give the benefit of the doubt more on line than in person because so much is lost in the medium.

I liked the title of your article though Nicky.

I liked your article. I've for sure thought some bloggers were women and turned out they were guys, and vice-versa. Boy did I ever have to re-think my responses to those people after that!
Probably better if I don't name them cause I really like a lot of the bloggers that I thought were of a different gender!

I am online a lot, still manage to miss some of the stuff. You're so right though, not everything is about whoever it is you're blogging about. Even if it's me!

I wouldn't use the word "peeled" so much per se, but I do click on and read your stuff, Nic. I do so 'cause I like what I read- everyday kinda cool stuff.

Yeah, I dig that.

Good point well said. The way I see it, I've got more important things to concern myself with than getting involved in a second-hand argument.

Now you got my curiousity up.  Who was the other person you confused me with?

And even though the name is pronounced Gee (hard G not soft - as in Great), I dont expect many mistake me for a woman.

Dr Guy, I think I mixed you up at some point with some other political guy.... but I don't follow those threads much, so I never did remember the name of the other one.

I feel honored now that you did remember me.
