Another hard night on the court. With a team that has been playing together for almost 2 years, and a member's subscription to the Raptor's channel leading to trying out new plays, and holding weekly drills concentrating on passing and shooting skills our team is going full-throttle. My own personal excercise plan has included 3x weekly walk-run-walks and nightly stretch sessions so it was only a matter of time before I started to see some improvement.
My game is better, definitely. My passing is quick and strong, my co-ordination on the court has improved, and my shots are mostly amazing. Better still is my speed. When faced against a great many people 10 years my junior, this old gal is still giving it good. Of course, my recouperation time is not up to par, but I can't complain. I'm more fit than I was 7 years ago. Nothing wrong with that.
I could do better. I've been trying to make improvements to my diet. While I have yet to go saintly in the beer consumption, the rest is slowly shaping up. I got a free pint glass from my local hangout and am trying to match daily water for occasional pint binge totals. I don't know why it bothers me so much to have to pee so much after drinking 5 pints of water, but think nothing of it when I replace the water for beer. I'd say, go figure, but since it's my figure that suffers from it, I'd best do better in that aspect as well.
