I'm blogonstipated.
I've got a handful of places where I post regularly, but really, anything goes for all of em. I find that my myspace account is generally music-oriented, I guess because of the format. I wrote a blog about dance music, and am still getting the vibe, I guess. I'm also in the middle of gathering a bunch of great 80's music for a cd compilation (oooh the power!) and I'm simply in love with myself right now. I shoulda been a dj.
But really, I haven't been posting much, at least, with the regularity that I'm accustomed to.
I don't know if I've got writer's block, or that I'm just bloody lazy. I start writing articles, and then leave them to hang around, unsubmitted. They've definitely gone bad now*, so there's no sense in even attempting a ressurrection. I don't know why I keep them, except maybe to surprise myself with remembering what seemed so important then, but means absolutely nothing now.
Life is pretty uneventful, aside from the music kick. I'm back to 40 hrs a week next week, so my job is like completely secure. Uh huh. It's still the same old shite though, and I've actively started seeking alternate employment, even though I'm being a little choosy at this stage. I might even go back to school for a term and a half to get some teaching experience through a college course. I still intend to apply for Teacher's College in the fall, so it would definitely help out.
But besides this, I'm just stayin' alive in a dog eat dog world. I'm trying to look on the bright side of things as always, but it's just so damned easy to go the other way.
2 pluses: 28 days until X-Men 3. Less than 12 hrs, and it's money in my pocket again. Payday is payday, no matter how small the check.

when blogs go bad* : an article written sometime ago, that was never submitted, yet still saved. It's exactly like dumping the last bit of leftover dinner in a tupperware container which is totally destined to become a science project later.
