you'll know I've just keeled over...

I don't eat meat. Well, not very often at least.

We stick to mostly fish, chicken and tofu, but tonight, for our birthday dinner we had the biggest serving of steak imaginable. That, a potato, a side of sauteed mushrooms and a bit of salad and slice of birthday cake... I've undone all the good work of exercise and basketball that I managed to get in last week all in one meal. But hey... it was good.

I think, in regards to my last blog, my mood has changed yet again. I think all I needed was a good day of being out in the sun, going for a walk and playing with the kids. As far as evenings out... yeah, I'm missing it, but not enough to want to get a sitter and spend that time away from my girl. Priorities, priorities. It's not all bad, that's for sure.

I went to a job fair this week and have gotten some pretty good leads and feedback. Hopefully, I'll hear back from the United Anishnaabeg Councils where I spent some time talking with their recruiter. It will include working on the Anishnaabe Government Agreement possibly in a research position.

In 667 more days, X-Men 3 comes out. That's something to look forward to, at least.

Good luck at getting a good job. You might be surprised at how little damage the steak did to you. Enjoy!

Hmmm... do you guys just read from the forums or by the homepage? Because I know that the forums do not list the subtitle. In this one it says 'you'll know I've just keeled over...' and it was a reference to eating way too much red meat and what might happen if your diet typically consists of fish, poultry and tofu. Obviously that went over quite a few heads but don't worry, I'm still standing...

Mack, now how much work would we actually get done with jobs in the same corporation? We'd be too busy talking and not enough working. I give us a day before we both got canned.

I'm glad you're feeling more like yourself again.

I used to be vegan, but couldn't resist the lure of a nice rare porterhouse.....
